Dog Walking in Valley Farms
Valley Farms is an unincorporated community in Pinal County, Arizona conveniently located between the state's two largest metropolises, Phoenix and Tuscon. Phoenix, within an hour's drive to the south, is a veritable treasure trove of dog-friendly places and activities, including busy dog parks and a pet-friendly eatery for just about every type of cuisine imaginable! Tucson, an hour's trip to the north, is also packed with places to keep hounds and their humans happy.
Because it's so small, Valley Farms doesn't have much to offer pet owners in the way of pet-friendly amenities -- you'll have to drive a short distance to find dog-friendly fun. The nearest veterinary clinic is in Coolidge, less than 10 minutes out of town.
Florence Dog Park is a wonderful park in Florence, a town in 6 miles east of Valley Farms. It is a small hidden gem in the area, promising tons of fun for four-legged visitors! A fully fenced area perfectly serves all pooches’ needs, welcoming them to join the "bark side"! There are benches, water drinking facilities, a few tunnels and even picnic tables available.
If you're craving a snack, you'll find plenty of drive-thrus on the way to Florence. However, you may want to stop by River Bottom Bar & Grill, a friendly bar with outdoor tables for loyal hounds and their parents.
