A special dog park -- C-Bar-C Dog Park -- is surrounded by two neighborhoods: Oak Crest Village on the east and Farmette Hills on the west. Getting to Citrus Heights will not take long: going straight via US-50 West, you’ll arrive in approximately 30 minutes. The area around these two neighborhoods has some shopping facilities and Northwoods Park situated against the dog park. C-Bar-C Dog Park is an alluring off-leash area for dogs of all temperaments, sizes, and needs. The place is fully fenced and protects especially active pooches from running away. The park has a separate area for small dogs, lots of shade trees, a water spigot, and outside seating including benches and tables. For the joy and excitement of those pooches who adore water and fancy themselves swimmers, there are several pools and a water hose to enjoy.

Carmichael Park in the city of Carmichael is surrounded by many small neighborhoods. The closest ones are Spyglass Oaks to the south, Jay Jay Estates to the north, and Grand Park and Landis Estate to the west.
