This sunny Southern California city has a furrific off-leash dog park, numerous parks where you can take your pup for walks on-leash, and a variety of dog-friendly restaurants. The city also has two highly-rated veterinary clinics to keep your dog happy and healthy.

If you want to spend the day in the park with your dog, head over to Panorama Park. Panorama Park is the largest park in Cathedral City, and it features basketball courts, volleyball courts, and picnic areas with charcoal grills. It also has a flat, paved .45-mile walking path that goes around the park. Dogs are welcome on-leash in this neighborhood park.

For another pawesome park, head over to the city of Palm Desert, and check out the Cap Homme/Ralph Adams Park. This 27-acre park is only seven miles from Cathedral City, and it has a large off-leash dog area. The area isn’t fenced, so be sure to keep your pup under voice control.
