“Dog lover and friend to all animals!”

Hi, my name is Sam Fiorini! My love for dogs is what sparked me to enter the wonderful world of Wag! Dog Walking. I've done dog walking and dog sitting for my friends for my entire life and I've done volunteer work for a couple of animal shelters. I understand the importance of trusting someone to care for your fur babies. I grew up in a household with just as many babies as there were fur babies. I currently have 2 dogs of my own.

Dog Walking in Anza

Anza, California is a small community that is nestled in between three mountain ranges. It was once a lake that evaporated. As such, it has a wealth of natural history that is showcased through the miles of trails that supported the city back in its mining days.

When you come for a visit, you simply must check out the Hamilton Museum and Ranch Foundation. You can walk through the exhibits and learn about the history of the area. All of the old ways of ranching are shown through documents and exhibits.

This small town loves nature almost as much as it loves the pets that call it home! (Almost.) Anza boasts three vets within the city limits, and another two right outside the city.

For a wonderful place to stop and grab a bite, bring your pal over to Paradise Valley Cafe. You will find that they have a large selection of American dishes that will have you begging for more. You can bring your pup to any of their outdoor tables. They have a friendly staff and a well-kept dining area, so it's sure to be your new favorite place. Overall, this is a barktastic, family-friendly community that you and Fido are sure to enjoy, whether you're lucky enough to live here or are just visiting.

Please remember that you will need to keep your pup on a leash, and that there are a few trails where pups aren't allowed. Palomar Mountain has Barker Valley Trail waiting on you to come and explore just thirty miles from Anza. Here, you'll find a 7.5-mile trail that will lead you and your pup through the Cleveland National Forest. You will need to keep your dog on his leash while you are on this hike, but with so much to see, he won't mind. There are a few springs dotted throughout the area. However, they are sparse, so you should make sure to bring enough water for you and your pup. There is lots of wildlife to see, but please don't feed the wild animals or let Fido harass them.
