Ballard / Los Olivos

Relax at the Dreamcote Wine Co with your furry pal by your side. This pawsome winery offers a friendly tasting room where you can enjoy locally produced fruit wines with your pup at your side. While wine tasting, you can learn about their wine-making process, and they even offer small bites like flavored popcorn. While visiting this beautiful winery, your pup needs to stay on leash. If Fido isn't in the mood to visit a winery, grab a bite to eat at the Sides Hardware and Shoes. This lovely restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a patio that welcomes your pup.

Ballard

Only five miles out of Los Olivos in Solvang is a great winery that you and Fido can relax at. The 39-acre vineyard offers a tasting room and garden patio where you can bring your pup with you as you enjoy a few different wines. The winery does warn that there are dogs that constantly roam the winery off leash since it is a working farm, so make sure your pup is friendly to other pups. The winery also offers small bites that you and your dog can enjoy. Your dog will love heading out of town with you to visit this pawsome winery.

Alamo Pintado Road

If Fifi is craving a good walk, take her out to the Sunny Fields Park. This beautiful park offers a wooden playground, water mister for those hot days, and a BBQ with a picnic area. The park has a great walking path that goes through it, perfect to use for a walk with your pup. Make sure to bring plenty of water with you since the park doesn't have many trees for shade. If your pup likes to run and roll in the grass, this park is filled with a plethora of it! Located in Solvang, your dog won't mind the small ride to hang out at this pawsome park.

Santa Ynez Oaks

The Santa Ynez Park is a lovely spot that you and your pup can visit. The park has great amenities including a playground, a picnic area under a pavilion, and a ton of grass that your dog can run around in. Get a good walk in on the trail that goes throughout the park, or just relax on the benches. The park is fenced in to help keep Fido safe, and there are tons of trees to help provide shade. Located only four miles out of Los Olivos in Santa Ynez, your dog will love hanging out at this park with you.

If you love wine, head to the South Solvang neighborhood for an adventure. Cali Love Wine offers a combination of music and wine where you can enjoy the first guitar museum tasting room. The Carivintas Winery has a great dog friendly atmosphere and offers water bowls and pillows for you dog to relax on while you enjoy some tasty wine. The winery loves dogs, and even features rescue dogs on their wine bottles. These great wineries are located in Solvang, only fives miles away, and are perfect for a weekend getaway with your pup.
