Nipomo West

If you need your caffeine fix, the Nipomo West neighborhood is home to Starbucks. Take a seat on their outdoor patio, and grab a cup of coffee and pastry with your pup by your side. They also offer a puppiccino for your dog, so you both can enjoy something tasty while you are visiting. Make sure to keep Fido on a leash while dining on the patio. This Starbucks is located just down the road from the Nipomo Regional Park, which is filled with a playground, baseball fields, and tons of grass for Fido to roll around in. 

South Oak Glen Ave

Grab a bite to eat at Oi-Whole Pizzeria with your furry friend. This causal joint dishes out a variety of food that varies from sandwiches, pizza, pasta, and salads. Their menu has some diverse flavors that both you and your pup will love. The Mayor's Place is a great spot to go into if you're looking for a fantastic breakfast or lunch. They offer a comfortable atmosphere with a tasty menu featuring eggs Benedict or fish and chips. Both of these great eateries have dog friendly patios that welcome your pup, as long as he stays on leash.

Trilogy

If you and your pup are looking for a unique adventure to go on together, check out The Luffa Farm. This pawsome farm offers free tours and information all about luffa sponges and how they are grown and harvested. Your leashed dog is welcome on the tour, and afterwards, the two of you can check out the gift shop and get some goodies before you head home. Although the tour isn't long, your dog will love every minute of the new places you both can explore. Don't forget to bring water for your furry pal in case he gets thirsty while out and about.

Preisker Park

Take Fido out to Preisker Park for a great afternoon out under the sun. This park is one of the largest in town and offers a horseshoe pit, disc golf course, two playgrounds, and tons of open green space that Fido can run around in. The park also features a pond and a huge walking path. There aren't a lot of trees to provide shade, so make sure you bring water so you both can stay hydrated while visiting. Only eight miles out of Nipomo in Santa Maria, your dog won't mind the small car ride to check out this pawsome park.

Oceano Beach

If both you and your pup want to dip you feet into the sand, check out the Oceano Dunes State Park. This park welcomes your leashed dog to frolic around in the sand and chase the waves of the ocean right by your side. The park is known to get busy and does allow off-highway vehicles, so keep an eye on your dog while there. Make sure to bring water with you and clean-up bags when you visit. Located in Oceano, and only ten miles out of Nipomo, your dog will love visiting the beach with you.
