The Pine Street area of Solvang, CA is just a bit over 20 miles from Mission Hills. This area may not offer much in the way of doggie parks, but it sure has some interesting spots for you and your favorite pooch. Like the Wandering Dog Wine Bar, for instance, which allows dogs inside to join their owners for wine and beer tastings! Waller Park
Around 18 miles from Mission Hills is Waller Park in Santa Maria. This neighborhood is where you’ll find the beloved Woof-Pac Park, a fun, off-leash park with plenty of space to let your dog run, play, and get some exercise with his furry friends. You can also hop on board the Santa Maria Valley Railroad Trail, an almost-three-mile-long trail in the Rails-to-Trails organization that allows leashed pups to explore with their owners.
