Hi! My name is Maia. My family had dogs when I was growing up, and I've been walking dogs and dog sitting for neighbors and friends for over 10 years. I've walked everything from a 3 lb Chihuahua to a 100 lb wolfhound mix. I grew up in San Luis Obispo but now live in Santa Barbara. Each day when I get home from my job as a food scientist, I go for a long walk. I'd love to enjoy the sun and fresh air with your furry friend by my side!

“All dogs are good dogs!”

I am a dog owner and experienced care giver, and have been a walker for a while now. I try to be as loving and patient with each dog I meet as I am with my own dog, while being firm when needed. I'm willing to go as fast or as slow as dogs want or need, while encouraging exercise and healthy habits in the dogs I walk/run with. I am a dog love at heart and always will be!

“Caring and cautious pet buddy!”

Hi, my name is Gillian! I am originally from San Diego and am currently studying at UCSB! At home in San Diego, I have two long haired dachshunds, Daphne and Belle. I grew up watching them when my mom went out of town and also dog sitting for neighbors and family friends. I love dogs with all my heart but am not currently allowed to have any in my apartment, so I feel that Wag is the perfect way to show love to some awesome pooches!

My love and passion for animals were inspired before I could speak: as a toddler, I would spend hours trying to communicate and play with Kasha, my aunt's 150 lb Akita. By the time I could walk and talk, family outings would regularly entail trips to nearby pet stores, shelters, adoption events, and of course- I stopped for every animal I passed along the way! Over the years, I've cared for hermit crabs, fish, hamsters, lizards, birds, cats, and canines. I've always had a profound appreciation and respect for the natural world as well as everything in it, but dogs have consistently held a special place in my life and in my heart. I had the opportunity to take home two of my own pups when I was about 6 years old: Britney, a Pekingese, and Charlie, a Shitzu. When I left for college, I lived on my own for about a year when I met and fell in love with Harley, a 90 lb German Aussie Golden mix. After independently rescuing and rehabilitating Harley, I worked extensively with a private trainer and was eventually able to get him service certified. Being such a hardcore animal kid, I took my responsibilities very seriously, and have continued to do so. Over the years, I've read dozens of books on dog training, discipline, and communication. I've also helped family and friends with dog sitting, training, walking, and other canine-related needs; this has allowed me to become comfortable working with various breeds- small, large, and everything in between! I can't wait to connect with and care for your furry family member :)

Hi, my name is Hannah! Although I have owned multiple dogs myself, I grew up rescuing, housing, and caring for all types of dogs. I cannot get enough of working with and helping out dogs, so I also volunteer at an animal shelter and dog-sit as well. Since I have been around dogs my whole life, I am good with a variety of dog personalities, including but not limited to energetic, shy, aggressive, small, and large dogs. Spending time with dogs is my greatest passion and I can't wait to meet your dog!
