It’s a community green space that’s perfect for leashing up your dog and walking laps around the park to burn off energy. When you’re done, sit in the grass, under the shade trees, and just relax with man’s best friend. While this park isn’t the largest, and lacks the amenities of some other nearby parks, its convenient location puts it over the top for many people. Bring your own water bottle and a doggie bowl to share it with.

Little Saigon

Westminster Park is just three minutes across the border from Midway City into Westminster. This park is dedicated to baseball, but that also makes it a great place to walk your dog! Any dog with a sniffing nose and a love of people-watching will enjoy walking in this park. You can circle the whole park for a decent lap, so one or two can be your morning or evening outing with your dog. When the baseball fields aren’t in use, they’re just open fields waiting to be explored! Pick up after your dog and keep him on leash, and Westminster Park will stay such a great destination.

The Sid Goldstein Freedom Park is just three minutes by car from Midway City. This Westminster treasure is a local monument to fallen veterans. Take in the local culture and enjoy a beautiful day in California. The park also features a playground and picnic area with gorgeous views. Dogs aren’t allowed inside the recreation center, but you can take them everywhere else in the park, as long as they stay on leash! Social dogs will love to see the crowds at this popular park. Follow the paths that connect the various sections for a great workout and fun time at Sid Goldstein Freedom Park!

Russell C Parks Park

The Russell C Parks is a park inside the Russell C Parks Park neighborhood of Westminster, just a short, four minute drive from Midway City. You can park your car at the Russell C Parks parking lot to park-take of this dog-friendly park, as long as your pup doesn’t park too much. Anyway… Leashed dogs are welcome here! This park is best known for its playground and children’s sports fields, but there’s lots to do for an adventurous dog. Walk the perimeter of the park for a decent workout; this park isn’t huge, but it’s larger than average for the area.

Magnolia

You can’t come to the Midway City area without hopping over to Garden Grove to visit the Garden Grove Park and Dog Park. It’s only seven minutes away, and it’s the furfect place to spend your day! This fantastic space makes the most of every inch of property! Make a beeline for the dog park, where off leash romping is always on the menu! There are separate areas for large and small dogs. As the busiest dog park in the area, you can expect to always have a new friend or too on hand! If your dog prefers leashed walks, the extensive walking paths through this 32-acre park make it bliss on earth.
