In addition to the local history, this neighborhood boasts two parks great for walking your dog. Start in the quiet Newcastle Park for green space and room to walk your leashed dog. This park is simple and small, but great for a brisk walk. If you want something busier, try Westminster Park instead. This park features sports fields and more room. Your dog still has to be on leash, but with plenty to see and sniff, it’s a stimulating walk!

West Garden Grove
West Garden Grove, a neighborhood of Garden Grove, CA, is just two minutes from Westminster. It’s also home to Garden Grove Park and Dog Park, an amazing place to let your dog run and play. Head through the trails of the busy, multi-use human park to find Garden Grove Dog Park inside! This fenced in grassy area is perfect for pups who need to kick up their heels and explore off leash. There are some benches for humans, but you’re going to want to bring your own water and a bowl for your buddy. There are drinking fountains in the main park, but they’re for people.

Garden Park is a Garden Grove neighborhood just eight minutes from Westminster, and home to the Arbor Dog Park. This park has everything your pup needs for a great time. There are separate areas for large and small dogs. It’s fully fenced, so your pup can roam off leash. It’s also a large park, so dogs who love to run can work off their energy. The large dog areas have water fountains, so if you have a small pal, bring a bowl for him to get quenched. This Garden Park gem is worth the short drive!
