Located just down the road in La Canada Flintridge, your pup will love hanging out at these parks.

Montrose Verdugo City

The Montrose Verdugo City neighborhood is filled with a plethora of dog friendly restaurants, Fido won't know where to begin. Zeke's Smokehouse is a southern inspired joint that dishes out breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a bright atmosphere. Portobello's Cuisine offers a menu of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. Seasoning Alley is a causal restaurant that dishes out an abundance of Mediterranean food. If none of these fit your fancy, you still have more to choose from, like Casa Cordoba, Big Mama's and Papa's Pizzeria, or New Moon. All of these amazing restaurants have dog friendly patios and welcome your pup to come along.

Verdugo Mountains

Take Fido out for an awsome hike on the Beudry Loop Trail in nearby Glendale. The 5.8-mile hike has a 1,469-foot elevation gain with a loop route type, giving you and your pup a great workout. Make sure to bring plenty of water on the hike since there isn't any provided, and there's not a lot of shade. If Fido isn't in the mood for a hike, check out the Oakmont View Park. This park offers a tennis court and a nice walking path around, plus you get an amazing view of the mountain while you are there. Less then five miles out of Montrose, your pup won't mind the drive for this pawtastic adventure.

Hwy Highlands

The Deukmejian Wilderness Park is a dogtastic area to visit with your pup by your side. The 709-acre park is filled with sage scrub and woodlands, but there is 12-acres of the park blocked off for some fun. The park offers restrooms, a picnic area, and a nice walking path so you and your pup can get a walk in before the day is over. Make sure to keep Fido on a leash while you are visiting, and don't forget to bring your clean-up bags and water with you. Only three miles out of Montrose in La Crescenta, your pup will have a great time visiting this park with you.

La Crescenta-Central

Take Fido over to the Two Strike Park in La Cresecenta for a fun filled day. The park is filled with a baseball diamond, playground, and a ton of green space for you pup to run around on. Make sure to get a good fetch session in before the two of you leave. Fido can get a great walk in on the walking path that goes throughout the park, plus be able to explore some new territory with you by his side.
