Hi, I’m Anna! I’ve always connected with dogs on another level. For the past 9 years my neighbors, friends and family understand my love for dogs/ strong connection with them and they always ask me to dog sit! Ive had the most memorable, fun experiences spending time with dogs/puppies. At family gatherings the past few years, typically there are 5-7 dogs who join and it’s more of a puppy party! My favorite! I can’t wait to share my love and joy with your best friend and make more great memories!

Hi! My name is Cyndee, I grew up in California with my family raising German Shepherds. I moved to Colorado two years ago with my Best Buddy Lancaster. Unfortunately, I lost Lancaster to liver cancer this past October. At the age of twelve my neighbors would call on me to watch or walk their furry friend. Currently, I volunteer with GUR here in Gunnison when I can. I would like the opportunity to walk and or care for your furry friend or friends! I enjoy being a part of the Wag Team! Thank you!

Dog Walking in Gunnison

Gunnison, Colorado, is a beautiful mountain city with tons of community parks and a cozy, small-town vibe. Whether you find yourself en route to the Rocky Mountains or are just looking for a beautiful city to visit, Gunnison has plenty to of-fur! With spectacular snow-capped mountains in almost every direction, this city is ideal for pet parents that love the outdoors. Lovingly known as Gunny by its residents, the village has at least four veterinarians within the city limits and more in the surrounding townships. A quintessential western mountain valley town, Gunnison is ideal for adventurous pups that enjoy leashing up and exploring nature. Hungry? Grab a bite with Fido on the pet-friendly patio of Palisades, just off Main Street. After you fuel up, head down to the Hartman Rock Recreation Center, about 14 minutes by car, and check out the many scenic trails with your canine!

Want to take in the sights without leaving the comfort of your car? Pack up a lunch and load up the car with your furry friends and drive along the Gunnison Park Loop Scenic Drive. You’ll get exceptional views of all the nearby mountains, and even a sneak peek into the neighboring towns!

This national park is just a small portion of the Black Canyon, named for the magnificent sculpted rock formations made by millions of years of the Gunnison River flowing through it. A spectacular place to sleep under the stars, Black Canyon welcomes visitors both four- and two-legged! There is plenty of hiking to explore; however, the park often implements temporary restrictions in certain areas for dog walking. Stick to the North Rim campground for overnight excursions and the Cedar Point or North Rim Chasm View Nature trails. Remember, Fido has to remain leashed while in the park, even at your campsite!
