Courtney was great! My dog has separation anxiety & is usually freaking out when I get home after being gone all day. But this time, she was calm and happy. She clearly loved Courtney!

Sheana came through when I was in a pinch. I needed someone to let the dogs out because I was stuck in traffic in the mountains. She responded last minute and had excellent communication. She’s the best!

It was our first time leaving Skittles with a sitter, and Daniel did a great job of assuaging our fears! He was super communicative and made sure we knew that Skittles was in good hands. Highly recommend!

Kelli was awesome boarding my two dogs. Not only did she give daily updates with videos and pictures she also worked with them on introducing them to her cat and getting used to her big dogs. Can't recommend enough!

City Center

City Center

The Ben Smith Park is a small downtown green space with shade, seating, and is within walking distance to shops and restaurants. You and your fluffy friend will enjoy shopping in the Historic District in downtown Vidalia along shaded sidewalks. Afterwards, head over behind City Hall to see the giant Vidalia Onion fountain statue to take a selfie with your favorite pooch. At night, the six-foot stainless steel structure entertains visitors with a multi-colored light, water, and music show in the park. If you need a place to throw a ball while you enjoy the mild weather, stop by Gaynelle Park or Matthews Park. These simple neighborhood parks don’t have dog waste stations or dog-level water fountains, so be sure to bring along all the supplies you need.

There’s nothing more fun for a spirited doggo than running around leash-free with other pups. The Vidalia Community Dog Park is a wonderful place to socialize your doggo and meet other dog owners in the community. The fenced-in off-leash play area is for pups of all sizes. There are dog waste stations, but no dog-level water is available. For pups who prefer an on-leash walk, the Vidalia Regional Sports Complex has a moderate trail adjacent to the two main fields. After a long day of sightseeing, you and your puppy pal need a quiet place to lay your heads. The Hampton Inn Vidalia and the AmericInn Lodge & Suites welcome four-legged friends.

Taking walks and playing fetch in the backyard is nice, but dogs can learn a lot and have a ton of fun in a simple neighborhood park. Godbee Park on Church Street isn’t much more than a patch of grass with a playground, but the chance to see something unfamiliar will stimulate and challenge your canine companion. Those who travel with their puppy pals by RV have a new place to park their rig and spend the night near the Vidalia Regional Airport. The Sweet Onion RV Park has full hook-ups and is conveniently located near restaurants and shopping, and welcomes your pup to stay with you.

Public access to the 25 miles of hunting and fishing accessible shores on the Oconee River in this neighborhood let energetic doggos have a splashing good time! When you need supplies, head over to the Vidalia Farm Center where you can stock up on pet food, leashes, dog beds, and other necessities for Fido. This pup-friendly business welcomes leashed doggos outside in the nursery area, but not inside with the bunnies and chicks. Energetic pooches and their human companions can tackle a portion of the 27-mile Yamassee Trail that runs parallel to the Oconee River. This scenic trail winds past huge forests, scenic farms, and historic churches.

South Lyons

Partin Park is only about 5 miles away in the quaint town of Lyons GA. The park is packed with opportunities for humans and their canine companions, and is considered one of the finest small town parks in the state. Four-legged friends will love wandering through the scenic landscape on the nature trail. Enjoy an outdoor snack and a drink of water at one of the nine outdoor pavilions for a quick rest in the shade while watching the kids play on one of the eight playground areas. Bring a bowl for your pup to get some water from the fountains, and pack some clean up bags. Two-legged visitors can get ready for baseball season at one of the five playing fields, concession stands, or batting cages. Lots of trees and shade make this park a big hit with doggos!
