Nestled on the banks of the Altamaha River in the heart of Southeast Georgia, Jesup is a charming community that maintains a close connection to its past. It is home to one of the state's few remaining drive-in movie theaters, and trains still travel through the city daily. Jesup has two animal hospitals to ensure that visiting and residing canines are able to enjoy all that the city has to offer.

The Cracker Williams Park is a nice spot to spend some quality time with your furry best friend. Leash up and take a stroll on the grassy areas at this beautiful park, which houses a large social hall that the residents use for gatherings and reunions. Several trees throughout the site offer ample shade and give the park a woodsy feel despite its downtown location.

Should you and Fido find yourselves in the eastern part of town, stop by the Hungry Hillbilly's Grill and BBQ to grab some grub. This eatery has some outdoor tables at the back, so you can enjoy your meal with your pup by your side. The outdoor dining area is right next to a duck pond, so Fido might make some bird friends while you're there.

Expect to have a pawrific time with your pooch in Jesup!
