Gross Road
The Howard Peeples Park is a popular spot that spans over 18 acres. This park is never empty, with features that include three pavilions with picnic tables, multiple athletic fields and courts, and two playgrounds. Go for a leashed stroll under shade trees on the walking paths and grassy areas, watch the local kids play their favorite sports, or duck under one of the picnic pavilions and share a snack with Fido. You and your pup can cover a lot of ground walking around the Howard Peeples Park, so he'll be all nice and tired when it's time to go home.

Looking for a place to spend a nice afternoon with your pooch? The Kingsland Lions Park features a half-mile walking trail and grassy areas that any canine will enjoy. This 12.4-acre park is especially busy during baseball season, as it is also home to multiple baseball fields, including the handicap accessible Justin's Miracle Field. All dogs must be kept on a leash while at the Kingsland Lions Park. After getting some exercise in, make your way to Salt.Pepper.Thyme, where you can share an outdoor table on the sidewalk with Fido. Reservations are recommended at this restaurant, which serves Southern cuisine with a French twist.

Pine Bluff
If you and Fido are traveling in an RV, make yourselves at home at the Country Oaks Campground & RV Park. Just minutes away from coastal waters, Country Oaks offers 44 RV sites with full hook-up, surrounded by oak and palmetto trees. This pet-friendly campground also has paved interior roads, picnic tables, free Wi-Fi, and a stocked pond. Another place where you can park your RV is the Jacksonville North / St. Marys KOA, where amenities include complimentary breakfast, a fitness center, a general store, and a fenced-in dog park. All of the KOA's sites are pull thru and come with free cable and Wi-Fi.

West Kingsland
The Browntown Wilderness Park is a good place to go for a leashed walk, should you and Fido find yourselves in the western part of town. Spanning almost 28 acres, this site offers lots of space for you and your pup to stretch your legs and get a good workout in. There's also a nature trail that winds through a wooded area. Other amenities of the Browntown Wilderness Park include multi-use fields, a basketball court, a playground, and a pavilion with a kitchen. There are no dog-friendly eateries within walking distance of the park, so be sure to bring snacks and treats!
