Angola is a city in Steuben County, Indiana, and it's a wonderful place for families with dogs to live or visit! There is a mix of single-family homes and apartments throughout the neighborhoods with a variety of budgets to meet your needs. You will find the pawfect home for you and your fur-babies no matter what your needs are if you are moving to Angola. Pokagon State Park is less than thirty minutes to the north of Angola and is a pupular destination for families and their dogs looking for a cool place to beat the heat in spring and summer months!

You will need a sturdy and reliable leash for your pup while walking through Angola. The town is moderately populated, but the traffic can get heavy during peak rush hours, so you will need to keep your dog close. A six-foot leash, as opposed to a retractable leash, is recommended for safety and reliability. Keeping your dog's rabies tag either on a collar or a harness is also a good idea. There are three animal hospitals in Angola, making picking a vet for your pet a breeze if you need an annual exam, vaccinations, or specialized care for your fuzzy family member.
