Hi, I’m Sierra! I’ve loved and owned dogs since I was little, and I volunteered at the local Humane Society during elementary and middle school. While in high school, I worked at a boarding and grooming facility. Both of these experiences has greatly increased my familiarity with different breeds and dog behaviors. I have been surrounded by dogs and passionate dog lovers since birth so I have an inherent love for man's best friend. My dogwalking experience ranges from the busy sidewalks of NYC to the beautiful backwoods of Southeast Alaska. I love dogs of all types and activity levels (and I have a super special soft spot for those villanized "bully breeds"). At my core, I'm a friendly and dependable fellow Kentuckian who looks forward to getting to know and caring for your four-legged family member(s).

Dog Walking in Frankfort

Frankfort is the capital of Kentucky, known for its historical sites, southern hospitality, and amazing bourbon. With the Kentucky River running through it, there are a myriad of outdoor and riverfront adventures waiting for you and Fido in Frankfort. This river city has six veterinary facilities, so you can rest assured that your doggo will be taken care of if needed.

The Leslie Morris Park on Fort Hill is a pawtastic place to go for a walk with Fido while learning about the history of Frankfort. This park houses two Civil War forts and an 1810 log building that now serves as the visitor center, and is surrounded by 125 acres of forest inhabited by several species of wildlife. Follow the trails to explore the area and get to the top of the hill, where you and your pooch will be greeted by beautiful views of downtown Frankfort.

Bourbon enthusiasts shouldn't miss the chance to visit the Buffalo Trace Distillery, the world's most award-winning distillery. Furtunately, you can bring your pooch along as you tour this National Historic Landmark—he might even receive some treats from the staff! The only places where Fido isn't allowed are the bottling halls; even the gift shop is dog-friendly.
