We’re sure the name is about concocting incredible coffee, but we’re going to pretend it’s to honor the dog-friendly patio! If you want a full meal, check out Romacelli Bistro e Vino. You and Fido can have a seat at an outdoor table. The only problem you’ll have is deciding whether to get Cajun, Mediterranean, or Italian food! Bone Appetit!

Arbolada Addition
A 20-minute drive might not be Fido’s favorite thing in the world, but we guarantee he’ll love Lafayette Dog Park at Young Park! This bark park is an off-leash, fenced-in area with plenty of room for your pup to take in new sights and smells. Water is provided for your dog, which is great news, because your pup is going to get thirsty dealing with the Louisiana heat. If you and your dog are night owls, the park is still open after dark; plenty of lighting is provided. Your dog will definitely make friends here, but it’s likely you will, too; locals love welcoming new pup parents.

Lake Fausse Pointe State Park
Lake Fausse Pointe State Park is about 50 minutes away from Cade, but you can easily make a whole day of exploring the park! Three separate trails wind throughout parts of the 6,000-acre state park, so if your dog loves going for walks, he’s in luck! The trails vary in length from half a mile to just over three miles. If going for a hike isn’t enough for you and your exploring partner, why not camp overnight? Tent camping is available starting at $18 a night. Fido can camp out with you, but you’ll need to keep him on his leash for the duration of your time in the park.

Pont Des Mouton
Brown Memorial Dog Park is an off-leash dog park that’s located within, you guessed it, Brown Memorial Park. This spacious bark park has plenty of room for your dog to run around with his new friends or his favorite friend – you! If Fido’s busy playing with his furry friends, you can make use of the one-mile-long trail that circles the park. Seating is available if that’s more your thing. Water and waste bags are provided, and the park kindly asks that you make use of the latter. No one wants to step in anything left behind!

Downtown Youngsville
Youngsville is just a quick drive away from Cade, and if you’re looking to find another dog-friendly dining option, head to Hook’d Up Bar and Grill. This downtown restaurant has six dog-friendly tables on their patio. With a large variety of food, there’s something for everyone. From burgers to po’boys and tacos to pasta, the food is pawsitively mouthwatering. Fido will be licking his lips, too.
