Geismar
The neighborhood of Geismar includes several industrial plants, some farms, and single-family homes. There are a few wooded lanes where you can take a stroll with your pup in this area. To treat your fur baby to some open space, head to Jackie Robinson Memorial Park off Coco Road. This facility includes a baseball field, grassy areas, and woods. Grab a picnic or play frisbee in the park with your special pal. Make sure you keep fido on a leash and under your control while visiting this property. Bring waste bags with you so that you can clean up any messes.36

Dutchtown
Dutchtown has a mixture of single-family houses, mobile homes, and educational facilities. There are residential blocks where you and pot can take a daily stroll together. If you're looking for open space, head east about four miles to George Washington Carver Park on Tobery Street in Gonzales. This neighborhood facility includes athletic fields, a picnic area, and some woods. Bring fido here to enjoy a meal outside together. You can also bring a ball or frisbee and play with your special pal. Remember to keep your pup on a leash and to clean up after him when using the public property.24

Saint Gabriel
The Saint Gabriel community includes the East Iberville High School, residential areas, and some small businesses. You and Fido will be able to take a daily stroll around the block in this neighborhood. When you want to stretch your legs in an open area, head to the East Iberville District Park off Monticello Drive. This facility has ball fields and some grassy space where you and Fido can get your exercise together. Dogs may accompany you in public areas as long as you keep them on a leash and under control. Sunshine, on Plaquemine Point along the Mississippi River, is a remote area with some farms and small plants. There are quiet roads here where you can stretch your legs with your pooch. Dogs are permitted here, provided you keep them on a leash and under your control at all times. There are no facilities here, so make sure you bring water and waste bags with your for your outing.
