NOLA City Bark is a dog park in the western New Orleans neighborhood of City Park. This dog park is nearly five acres, and it includes a quarter-mile paved walking trail as well. The dog park has separate big and small dog areas, and it's incredibly well-maintained. You're required to purchase a membership or a guest pass for a small fee, and you clearly see where the money goes by how well the park is kept! There are covered seating areas, drinking water from a pretend fire hydrant, agility equipment, swimming spots for dogs, doggy wash supplies, and waste removal equipment provided by the park.36

Touro
The Wisner Dog Park is about 25 miles east of Destrehan near the southwestern New Orleans area known as Touro along the Mississippi River. This dog park doesn't separate dogs by size, so be prepared for your little dog to play with big dogs or vice versa. There are water fountains, waste cleanup supplies, and plenty of seating and shade in this 8,500 square-foot park. Right near the park, there is also a playground and some sports fields. There's also a great coffee shop across the street from the park so you can get your caffeine fix before you head to the dog park.24

Bucktown
The northeastern Metairie, Louisiana neighborhood known as Bucktown is also home to the Bonnabel Boat Launch Dog Park.
