As a young college student I started pet sitting for my neighbors. I was pet sitting for 10 years already when a dear friend started a pet sitting service on the north shore; he asked me if I’d be interested in working for his sitting service, and I was thrilled. I began working as a professional pet sitter in 2002 and I can’t remember a more rewarding job. It's an honor to have been gifted with a career in pet sitting. I absolutely love caring for pets; they always have a special way of making each day more memorable.

“I’ve walked and caredfor over 500 dogs as a walker”

Ive spent most of my life caring for dogs. My first dog was a boxer that I had for 15 years. I used to also breed Neapolitan Mastiffs with my brother who is a dog trainer and competes in dog shows. They are huge dogs and a lot of responsibility which taught me patience and love for dogs. I’ve spent the last 2 years in New York walking and caring for over 500 different dogs. I’ve trained puppies and older dogs. I look forward to walking your dog and can assure you he is in good hands. Thank you!

“Big or small, I’ll walk ‘em all!”

Hi! I am a teacher, rugby player, and animal lover. I'm an active person, eager to get up and get out of the house every day. I sadly have no dog of my own. I didn't think it would be fair to a dog to bring it into my life just yet since a person's early 20's are full of uncertainty and unrest. That being said though, I love dogs more than any thing, and I can't wait to meet yours. Fun Fact: my Patronus is a corgi.

“It’s the best gig in the world!”

All my life I have had at least one, if not more, family dogs in my home. I started doing dog-walking and pet-sitting in 2014 when I moved to Dallas and instantly fell in love. I currently work as a manager at a doggie daycare and boarding facility. Meeting and having relationships with sweet furry friends while their humans are away is nothing but rewarding.

Dog Walking in Westwego

Westwego is located in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana and is considered to be a suburb of New Orleans. It lies west of the Mississippi River. There is a story that the city was named Westwego because it was an important crossing point on the river in the 19th century when the great westward movement happened. According to legend, travelers would often say "west we go," and the (rather unorthodox!) name stuck.

If you are in need of a place to stay along with your pup in this interesting town, you can check out the Bayou Segnette State Park Campground, Candlewood Suites Avondale New Orleans, or the Westwego Airbnb Rentals. If you want to grab a bite to eat, the Westbank Grill and Sonic Drive-In are happy to welcome you and your pooch.

If you are in need of a veterinarian, you can rest easy knowing Westwego is home to an animal hospital and a veterinary clinic as well.

If you are looking for something to do while you are in this town along with your four-legged fur baby, then you should really check out the Bayou Segnette State Park. The park is dog-friendly and offers lots of activities for everybody. You can go swimming, camping, hiking, fishing, and so much more in this natural oasis!

This park is pretty large and rich with beautiful grass and lots of trees. Small and large dogs have large, separate areas to play as well as a water fountain. Children under 10 are not allowed in the park for safety reasons.
