Ruffly 4 acres of landscaped beauty are available to you and your pup, but you'll need to purchase a permit first. Your pooch will surely have a woof-derful time in this park, considering that it offers separate areas for small and large pups and a walking trail! The park also offers water fountains for human and canine visitors, as well as a double-gated entrance system and baggies for cleaning up. Restrooms and shade pavilions are a big plus for the dog owners as well.

If you're in the mood for a little bit of an adventure and you want to go across Lake Pontchartrain with your four-legged friend, visit the Pelican Bark Park in Mandeville. The park is well-maintained, and you can choose one of the two sides for doggies under and over 25 lbs. Kiddie pools are available in the summer, and there are hoses so you can fill them up.
