In the Riverpark West neighborhood of the town of Macomb, Waldenburg Park offers 17 acres of outdoor adventure for you and your pup! There is a pawtastic walking trail where Fido will be delighted to take a stroll with you. This paved path is suitable for any fitness-level pup, even the young-at-heart! A basketball court is waiting for you to shoot some hoops, and a playground is calling the children’s names! Restrooms are provided on site as well as water fountains. Pups must remain on leash throughout, and please clean up after them to keep this park pristine and pup-friendly!

Lombardo Park in Shelby Charter Township is 5 miles west of Macomb, and waiting for you and your fur-ever friend to explore. There are ball diamonds and a playground area for the kiddos, but your pup will love the nature trails. Grab your leash and take pup for a stroll through the wooded areas and open spaces that comprise this park. Cross the wooden bridge and immerse yourself in nature here. You must not forget your camera for some puptastic photos of Fido enjoying themselves in the great outdoors!

Ford Field Central Park in Shelby Charter Township, just 5 miles west of Macomb, is home to outdoor, puptastic recreation opportunities. Check out the sports courts and fields, as well as the small pond. It is perfect for some quality relaxation time with your fur-ever friend. Lay out a blanket and enjoy your time together. Or head to River Bends Park which offers a pup-friendly disc golf course and hiking trails through the woods. Take the Yellow Loop to walk around the perimeter of the park with Fido on leash. Your fur-ever friend will be thrilled to hop on the Mae Stecker Park Trail, located here, to enjoy a 1.5-mile on-leash stroll with you. This trail is paved and rated as ‘easy.’ Or you can jump on the Heritage Gardens Trail that begins here and takes you on yet another pawtastic hike!

Boating and swimming in Stony Creek Lake is what residents and visitors cherish. Your pup can even take a dip here too! Take pup for a hike on their miles of trails that are frequented in winter by cross-country skiers! A disc-golf course, playgrounds and sport fields top off the amenities here.
