Park Road
There’s a Rails-to-Trails installment just ten minutes from Onondaga. Falling Waters Trails is a ten-mile trail that will lead you through what was once the rail bed of the Michigan Central Rail line. They have taken the time to pave it in asphalt so that it is easy for you and your pup to walk without getting too tired. Along the way, you can stop and take a swim, enjoy the picturesque views, or even just enjoy a picnic. It does pass over a few roads, but mostly it is just a rural trail.24

Carmen Drive
New Paw Playground is a relatively new dog park that is about a year old. It was established by the Humane Society so that all the dogs of the area can have a safe place to run and play. As long as your pup is fixed and current on vaccinations, then they are welcome to come and make some new fur friends. You will love that there are large awnings built to shelter you from the heat of the sun. There are pavilions to sit at as well. The only downside is that children are prohibited from playing inside the fenced-in area.

Grand River
Joey's Pet Outfitters Dog Park is a large seven-acre dog park that is fully fenced in so that you and your dog can play safely. It has everything that you could need, including water stations, cleaning stations, and resting areas. There is a pond in the middle so that all the dogs can play in the water.
