“Dog lover with 20+ breed experience”

I'm Julia, and I love dogs! I'd love to take your pup for a quick walk around the neighborhood to burn off some energy or spend time with them while you're away for a sitting or boarding! I treat every dog as if they were my own, since as a student, I'm not in a place to have my own to care for right now. My customer service background, attention to detail and genuine care for all animals will ensure that you and your pup will have a great experience.

Hi, I'm Stephanie! I grew up moving around the states with a Dad in the military. My sidekick Schnauzer named Schnitzel and I were best buds and that is where my love for dogs started. My name is George and I've owned dogs for 25 years. I have successfully trained my dogs with the basics but also have taught my pals to play dead, jump through hoops, waving a paw and more. I feel I have a great connection with dogs and they like me. I am a successful businessman and am semi retired and looking for new ways to stay busy and active. I am very responsible and will take great care of your pet. I'm looking forward to meeting and walking with your cherished furry family member.

Dog Walking in Grand Ledge

Located about 13 miles west of Lansing, Grand Ledge is a favorite place among rock climbers and outdoor enthusiasts in Michigan. Stretching throughout both Eaton and Clinton counties, the city offers a lot of outdoor attractions and recreational areas to explore with Fido. Public parks dotted along the river offer both cozy and spacious venues for walks and outdoor activities with family and furry friends. Grand Ledge features its own veterinary hospital, but there are three to the east in Lansing.

Grand Ledge is full of parks! However, none of them have a designated spot for pooches to play off-leash. Oak Park is a local rockstar with ancient rock formations and tons of thrillseekers looking for an adventure. Pooches are welcome to join you on the walking trails and along the shoreline. Some people fish here, so keep the buddy on-leash at all times! Fitzgerald Park, just a few miles up the river’s stream, is another great place to take Fido for a walk. Remote from the hustle and bustle, the park offers a natural area with a picturesque landscape and moderately difficult hiking trails to explore! Keep in mind that responsible owners always take some drinking water and waste bags with them.

Waverly

Waverly is a standalone community east of Grand Ledge, nestled between Delta Charter Township's eastern border and Lansing. This place has everything a tired traveler may need, including public parks, cafes, and even a shopping mall in the downtown area. Hunter's Orchard Park, sitting at the northern extreme of Waverly, is a wonderful lush park with hiking trails and plenty of room to explore and sniff! The area has no designated dog park, but there’s enough green grass to wallow in and sand to dig up! Follow the flow of the Grand River, and you'll discover another facility for leashed walks – Delta Mills Park. This park is simpler than its neighbor, but it's quiet and less crowded.

Old Everett

Old Everett

The Old Everett neighborhood in the southern part of Lansing will charm you with the pastoral atmosphere of a small rural community and an abundance of green and recreational areas. The neighborhood is the perfect place to stretch your legs before traveling farther in Michigan, or just having a mindful walk near the water. Everett Park is a large, open space to explore with your leashed Fido. However, if you want more wildlife and walking trails, Scott Woods Park will suit better. Keep your buddy on their leash when kayaking down the river, exploring the trails, and watching out for wildlife like white-tailed deer.

Abbott/ Lake Lansing

Abbot Road, a central and main arterial street in East Lansing, will lead you to the perfect place where you can find a true retreat with Fido far away from civilization. Hidden from shopping and dining venues in Lansing, Abbot Road Park is a quiet and spacious recreational area. After wandering here with your leashed pup, have some off-leash fun in Northern Tail Dog Park, one of few dog parks in Michigan. Located across from Abbot Road Park and behind an aquatic center, this pet-friendly enclosure has plenty of space to run and play with other mutts, toss a Frisbee, or just relax in the shade.

Patriarche Park

Patriarche Park

Patriarche Park is one of the central neighborhoods in East Lansing; however, it is also a nice spot to hide from the city buzz in green areas with Fido. Comfortably hidden away from the bustling highways, yet located close enough to many shopping facilities, the neighborhood centers on John M. Patriarche Park. This large green area is home to multiple playgrounds and sports fields, as well as picnic and play areas. Pooches are welcome but should stay on-leash. This popular park is a wonderful place to share a sandwich or some snacks with your buddy before continuing on your travels. Don't forget the water and waste bags!

Okemos Town Center

Okemos Town Center

Okemos is a standalone community in Meridian Charter Township, located east of East Lansing and Michigan State University. If you want to experience some true Michigan hospitality, Okemos Town Center is a great place to meet up with friends to dine at one of the many pet-friendly eateries in the area. Such as Old Chicago, a family-friendly restaurant which, despite the name, offers traditional Italian fare with lots of flavor! Prefer to chow down on classic American fare? T&D Coney Grill at West Grand River Avenue is a local favorite which is well-known for its breakfast. Leashed canine customers are welcome at all establishments!
