This furiendly place is named after the Devils Lake, which is the largest natural body of water in the state, and there are some furrific dog friendly activities that you can enjoy here with your beloved companion. To make sure that your furry friend is fit and healthy, there are two veterinary clinics located right in Devils Lake.

One of the best places in Devils Lake that is paradise for pooches is Graham’s Island State Park! You will find this puptastic place on the west side of Devils Lake offering sniff-tastic trails that you can explore with your pup. In addition, you can enjoy some fishing here, as well as the boat ramp, and camping facilities so you can sleep under the starts. All furry friends are welcome at Graham’s Island State Park, as long as he or she remains on leash during your visit. Just be sure that you are careful of ticks at certain times of the year.

This is a furrific place for some exercise since there is a sniff-tastic trail that you can wander around, as well as plenty of open green grass. Here there is a furrific open green grass area for your canine to run around and expend some energy, as well as a playground for the kids, picnic shelter for some treats and a basketball court. To explore with your furry friend, jump in the car and head 18 miles from Devils Lake to the puptown of Fort Totten! Here you will find the puptastic Sullys Hill National Game Preserve where you can bring your pup for some exercise out in nature and to retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. There are some sniff-tastic trails you can follow here, with two miles where you can explore the woodlands and wetlands. Keep an eye out for wildlife, which includes deer, prairie dogs, American bison and elk. All pups are welcome, as long as he or she remains on leash during your visit.
