Lyndhurst Dog Park, located at the very heart of the main park, boasts two fenced sections for small and large pooches. You'll have everything you need here to enjoy the pawfect day at the dog park, including shaded spots, benches, drinking water, and plenty of room to explore. Brookdale

The Brookdale neighborhood in northern Bloomfield features a supportive and friendly community built around residential quarters surrounding the roomy area of Brookdale Park. The dog park has two separate sections for small and large breeds, agility equipment, plenty of room to run, and a friendly local crowd of canine visitors every day! East Cedar Grove

The eastern part of Cedar Grove borders with the Upper Montclair neighborhood and features an extensive, beautiful recreation area. Mills Reservation County Park is situated on the banks of Cedar Grove Reservoir. For many visitors, this park is more than just a place to visit -- it's a natural adventure with miles of perfectly maintained hiking trails ranging from easy to difficult. The trails are suitable for newbies as well as advanced explorers with experience in hiking. The rules are simple: bring your own drinking water, keep your pup on their leash, and dive headfirst into adventure!

South Mountain Reservation

Located in the Maplewood township, South Mountain Reservation is a huge recreation area featuring picturesque views of Hemlock Falls, the Prehistoric Playground, Turtle Back Rock Picnic Area, and a beautiful roomy dog park. Located near the loop of Bear Lane and Crest Drive, South Mountain Dog Park boasts two areas for small and large breeds. Drinking water facilities, benches and shade are included in both sections, making socialization pleasant for humans and pooches alike. You will find a bunch of dog-friendly eateries at the very southern end of the park, right across the street near the shopping center. Gian Marco Trattoria serves delicious soups and freshly made sandwiches to doggie diners at the outdoor tables.
