Hi! I'm Jeff. I have loved dogs my entire life. From loving our family dog as a child, to being a loving adult owner, they have always had a big place in my life. I have been walking, and sitting, dogs for several years. It started out as just helping friends, and turned into a part-time passion. I have experience with many types of breeds, from small puppies to large senior dogs. I can handle any type of temperament a dog may have. They all deserve the same amount of love, and companionship. I take care of every dog like it is my own. Nothing can make a day better than to be greeted by a happy dog at home.

Hi, my name is Abby - I recently moved to Buffalo from Denver. I am a dog lover - I have a 9 year old dog and grew up with dogs. I love getting outside and walking with my own dog, so I thought this would be a good way to get outside and help a dog and dog parent out! I do have a full time job, but enjoy walking dogs in my free time. Thank you for letting me take care of your dog!

Since I was 4 years old I’ve always had a dog in the house. Growing up with dogs and animals I know how to recognize a dog’s needs. I have walked all sizes of dogs, from bull mastiffs to chihuahuas so I’m able to handle any situation. If you have two dogs that need a walk I am more than capable since I consistently walk two large, energetic labs. I love animals and would never do anything to put them in harms way and can’t wait to walk your dog(s)!

Hi, I'm Alyssa! I am lucky to have been working as a dog walker for the past 10 years - there is no better way to bond with a dog than during a walk! When out with a dog, I always practice good leash etiquette, while making sure we're having lots of fun! I provide personalized care for your pooch and do my best to keep your fur babies on their regular schedule while you're away. The town of Evans, located in Erie County, New York, includes the village of Angola and Angola on the Lake. As the name suggests, Angola on the Lake is a lakeside community on Lake Eerie. In case of emergency, you'll have access to two veterinary clinics, both within a 15-minute drive. Sadly, a prominent feature of the area, Bennett Beach, is not dog-friendly, but don’t let that discourage you! There are plenty of activities for you and your furry friend to enjoy within an hour’s reach.
If you head north to the city Buffalo, you will find Wilkenson Pointe Park, which features a paved walking trail. You will need to bring a leash and bags, but the park provides water dishes during the summer. Another attraction of the park which owners can enjoy is the beer garden. If the beer garden does not sound appealing to you, Buffalo contains over thirty fur-iendly restaurants from which to choose.
Northeast of Buffalo is the town of Clarence. Clarence is home to 16.7 miles of rail-trail (trails that follow the former paths of railroads) known as Clarence Pathways. Both you and your pal are sure to enjoy this pawesome trek.
At the heart of Evans is the village of Angola. As the site of the Angola Horror train wreck, the village is rich with history despite its small size. If while visiting you are in mood for classic American food and a casual dining atmosphere, check out Connors. Choose from of one of ten outdoor tables at which man and his best friend can enjoy quality time together. If you are looking for a place for you and your pet to stay overnight, Angola AirBnB Rentals may be able to help.
Lakeshore Road continues south of Evans into the community of Irving in neighboring Chautauqua County. The drive from Angola to Irving is approximately fifteen minutes long. The community is home to Evangola National Park. The most unique feature of the park is Evangola Beach, a natural sandy beach in the shape of an arch. For no additional fee, you and up to two of your furry friends (no matter what shape or size) can spend the night under the stars at one of over seventy fur-friendly campsites. Remember to bring a leash on this adventure!
For those who live in Evans, look no farther than your backyard for the nearest dog park! Well, it’s not exactly in your backyard, but The Backyard, Buffalo’s premiere off-leash dog park, is only a half hour’s drive away! Located in the Front Park neighborhood, The Backyard provides a fenced-in 70,000 square foot area for your pawesome friends to run free with separate areas for dogs big and small. Amenities include doggy water fountains, extra poop bags, and a complimentary view of the waterfront. Additionally, the park is handicap accessible, so everyone can participate in the fun.
Those who live an Evans have another option in eastern Amherst, which is approximately a 45-minute drive away. The area boasts its own off-leash dog park appropriately named the Paw Park. Big dogs and small dogs play in separate areas of the fenced-in park. Though water is available for your furry friend (except during the winter), food is prohibited in the park, so after a long day of play you will likely be hungry. Whether you are in the mood for Mexican food or bubble Tea (or both!), you and your pet can enjoy fur-iendly outdoor seating at Papi Grande’s and the Tea Leafe Café.
Less than an hour from Evans is the village of East Aurora. East Aurora boasts the 633-acre Knox Farm State Park, the former estate of Millard Fillmore. You can enjoy the beauty of nature while walking up to two of your furry companions on any trail you choose. Remember to bring a leash! You will likely be hungry after all the walking. Luckily, you will have three fur-iendly local restaurants from which to choose: Riley Street Station, 42 North Brewing Company, and American Grille. All feature outdoor seating where you and your pet can rest comfortably.
