This city is located about 23 miles from West Point, New York and is home to the Hardscrabble Wilderness Area Trail. This trail is a great place to spend a day with your pooch. It is about a 3.5 mile hike, and it should be fairly easy for you and Fido to complete. You will need to grab your dog’s leash, as one is required, but your pooch will have fun sniffing the different types of terrain. There is a pond and a few streams that run through the dirt trail, and all of the trees provide a lot of shade. There are no waste cans, so you will need to bring waste disposal bags for your pup.

If you and your pooch want to get some exercise, visit this city located about a half an hour from West Point, New York. This city is home to the Cornish Estate Trail. This trail is about 4.5 miles long and is moderately easy to hike with your pooch. It has a rocky path to hike on, with plenty of shade from the trees.
