I have a deep love and passion for all animals but mostly enjoy dogs of all breeds and personalities. I’m presently a dog owner of a small dog that is being trained to compete in the sport of agility. I’ve extensive knowledge on shaping a dog’s behavior focusing on developing confidence, happiness and motivation by using positive reinforcement methods. When I was young I always hanged around dogs I didn't know. I was short in height and the dogs were bigger than me but they all walked around with me with no leash even though I didn't know them they were my furry friends. If the dog wants to walk left I go left if the dog wants to make a right turn I will go right. I'm here to let the dog have as much fun as possible and be as safe as possible. If the dog is lonely I will take away that loneliness by giving the dog plenty attention.

I am a 22 year old recent school grad, whose childhood dream was to become a veterinarian. Throughout my life I have loved all animals including dogs, cats, fish, frogs, birds; you name it! I grew up with a West Highland Terrier, who unfortunately passed when I was five, and a Wheaton terrier who I had for the next 12 years of my life. Now, I currently live in my childhood home with my mom's adorable Yorkiepoo, Coco, and my handsome little Maine Coon cat, Brendan. I have a lot of patience and experience walking good dogs, bad dogs, small dogs, and large dogs, and taking a stroll around the city is one of my favorite things to do. I'm looking forward to meeting all of your dogs!

Hi, I'm Lauren! I've been a dog owner all my life and have had a few pups, including a special-needs Golden Retriever, so I'm used to dogs who need lots of extra attention. I've been professionally dog-walking and dog-sitting for years and have walked a wide range of dog breeds. Some tasks I've had with past clients are walking, training, administering medication, feeding and checking water, bringing pups to appointments, playing, etc. I'm very excited to meet your very best friend!

If you are looking for a beautiful walk in the wilderness, this is a great place to take your canine companion. This city is located about 23 miles from West Point, New York and is home to the Hardscrabble Wilderness Area Trail. This trail is a great place to spend a day with your pooch. It is about a 3.5 mile hike, and it should be fairly easy for you and Fido to complete. You will need to grab your dog’s leash, as one is required, but your pooch will have fun sniffing the different types of terrain. There is a pond and a few streams that run through the dirt trail, and all of the trees provide a lot of shade. There are no waste cans, so you will need to bring waste disposal bags for your pup.

This trail is about 4.5 miles long and is moderately easy to hike with your pooch. It has a rocky path to hike on, with plenty of shade from the trees. You will need to bring doggy bags for clean-up, and remember to bring some water for you and your canine pal to drink. Grab your hiking shoes and a leash for a fun-filled day on the trail.

This dog-friendly city is located about 28 miles across the state border from West Point, New York.  A great place to bond with your four-legged friend is at the Ramapo Valley County Reservation. There are a lot of trees for shade, and your pooch is free to roam around off his leash. There is a lake for your pooch to splash around in, and the trails really make you feel like you’re miles from the city. You will need to grab some doggy bags for clean-up, and bring some water for you and your pooch. The hike on the trail isn’t for beginners, and you will want to keep an eye out for wildlife.
