Here there is plenty of open grass to play fetch with your pup’s favorite toys, as well as relax and enjoy the views of the River Hudson. After a day out at the park, head to the River Grill for some puptastic food! This place serves up amazing seafood, and there are plenty of dog friendly tables where your furry friend is welcome to sit with you. For a family day of fun, head to Delano Hitch Recreation Park. This is a pawsome place with 26 acres to explore, as well as a bunch of puptastic facilities. While the main attraction is the baseball stadium that holds 2000 people, there are also tennis courts, basketball courts and two playgrounds for the kids. Of course, around these areas there are also some green spaces where your pooch can have a ball, with paths around the park where you can wander the perimeter. Since there is a road around Delano Hitch Recreational Park, it may be best to keep your pooch on leash unless they have good recall.
