There’s a playground for kids to enjoy, and tennis courts and a soccer field for the sporty types. There’s also plenty of picnic tables about in case you fancy a puppy picnic. The tall trees that surround the grounds of Cedar Mill Park mean there is heaps of shade during the scorching summer months, but make sure you bring some water to help your hound stay hydrated! Keep waste bags on you while you take a leashed lap.

Not only does this area have a park, but there’s also a nature area to explore, so it’s safe to say that Northwest Reeves Street is taking you to puppy’s paradise. This street grants access to Jackie Husen Park, a large open space with ample room to amble with your fit furever friend. There’s also a wooded trail that leads you to the Jordan Woods Natural Area. This hidden gem is a haven for hounds as it has off-road roaming spots to explore, plenty of trees and woodland areas to sniff, a creek, a scenic bridge, and a refreshing feeling of seclusion. Keep Lassie on a leash throughout both parks and pack poop bags!

North West Lost Springs Terrace

North West Lost Springs Terrace

The Cedar Mill Creek Greenway can be accessed on Northwest Lost Springs Terrace, and simply put, you’d have to be barking mad to miss it! This greenway provides a pupperific place for a leashed lap and links up with the Cedar Mill Creek Trail. Follow the greenway to Cedar Mill Creek Overlook Park for pawsitively breathtaking views of Cedar Mill Creek and stroll along the Sue Cougar Boardwalk to catch sight of the area's only waterfall. This walk has it all! Cedar Creek Falls can also be seen if you follow Cedar Mill Creek Trail. What are you waiting for? Leash that pooch, pocket those poop bags, and start walking!

Northwest 93rd Avenue

Northwest 93rd Avenue is home to Roger Tilbury Memorial Park, a 14-acre fantastical forested area. Roger Tilbury Memorial Park has plenty of play equipment for children to enjoy and a nature area that allows people to play amongst the native plants and shrubbery. This park is much loved by couch pup-tatoes and bouncy barkers alike because it has both an open lawn for carefree frolicking and paved trails for a walking workout! You must keep Fido leashed throughout the park, but as you run about this wooded wonderland, you’ll both feel free! While there is plenty of shade in the park, you should bring water for your tail-wagger, and doggy waste bags too!

Northwest 111th Avenue

Northwest 111th Avenue

You won’t be feeling lost if you make the journey to Lost Park on Northwest 111th Avenue, and that’s because it is a pawesome place to get some exercise with your darling dog. The main feature of this park is its tennis courts, and you can catch a game while you stroll about. Just make sure Fido doesn’t run off with any loose tennis balls! The generous grassy areas mean there’s plenty of room for a doggy dawdle, and the spread of picnic tables provide you with space to catch your breath. Lost Park also has paved paths so you can take a wandering walk through the grounds.
