SW Blanton St
Arnold Park in the SW Blanton St neighborhood is a furtastic destination for Fido and the family. The huge grassy lawn is perfect to play fetch and there are several shade trees with benches when you need a break. The kids can play on the ball field or kick a soccer ball around the open space. After walking several laps around the path, stop by the playground and let the kids climb on the jungle gym. You will need to bring your own water bottles and clean up bags, but there are trash cans located throughout the park.

Although dogs are not allowed in the Tualatin Hills Nature Park, just a few miles west you will find a great area to walk your pup in Melilah Park. There is a large grassy lawn where your pooch can romp and roam, and several paved walking trails where you can get some exercise. Older kids can play on the basketball or tennis courts while the younger children have fun on the playground. You can relax on one of the benches while Fido sniffs the trees and plants. Be sure to bring your own doggie waste bags. You will also need to bring water bottles, as there are no water fountains in the park.

Lawndale Park
Cooper Park is a wonderful area near Lawndale Park and the Bales Wetland area, and can be accessed from SW Oak St and SW Sugar Plum Lane. Residents of the area often walk their pups in the evening and relax in the picnic area at the park. There are two paved walking trails that go through the area, providing plenty of exercise for you and Fido. If you want to spend time with the kids, there are basketball courts and a playground with swing sets situated under the shade trees. You and your pup can relax on a bench and watch the kids play.

If you live near SW Farmington Road, you can easily spend time walking Fido around the two-acre Burnsridge Park.
