You'll find a quiet oasis at Krauss Park, located just north of Lamb Street. This small park, nestled against Spring Creek, offers a place for quiet reflection and one-on-one time with your pup. Grab a picnic lunch or go for a walk along the water with your pooch.

In addition to parks and quaint shops, downtown Bellefonte has a few pet-friendly restaurants. Enjoy some unique comfort food at the Governor's Pub on High Street. Dogs are welcome to lounge at your feet at one of the outdoor tables. Another place that offers dog-friendly outdoor seating is the Blonde Bistro.

Treat your pup to some off-leash time by hopping in the car and driving about 14 miles southwest from Bellefonte to State College. Here you can go to Tudek Park, a fenced facility with separate play areas for small and large dogs. Remember to be responsible and pick up any waste.
