This 2,000-acre facility has multiple hiking trails of varying lengths. Walk through woods and fields with your fur baby here. Dogs on a leash can join you as long as you clean up after them.

For a pawtastic park adventure, head northeast about 16.2 miles to Moraine State Park. This facility is over 16,000 acres in size and has miles of hiking trails. Go boating, try your hand at fishing, or spend the night in the campground with your pup here. You can bring dogs, provided they're on a leash.

Plan a camping trip with your pup at Rose Point Park Campground, located about 13 miles northeast of town. You'll be able to choose from campsites that accommodate tents or RVs, or you can reserve a pet-friendly cabin. Dogs need to be kept on a leash when outside. Clean up any messes.
