There are also some puptastic amenities at Highfield Park that you can enjoy, including several baseball diamonds. When you are having a day out at Highfield Park, be sure to bring some fresh water to keep your pup hydrated!

Meadowood

Since there is no dog friendly accommodation in Meridian, you can stay nearby in Butler with your furry friend! Here you can check in to the Days Inn where you are welcome to bring two beloved companions of any size for an additional fee per night. Another puptastic place to stay with your pupper is the Super 8! Here you can also bring two canines with you of any size for only a small additional fee per night. You can enjoy a free breakfast in the morning, as well as air conditioning and cable television in your room with your canine.

The Island

Just to the east of Meridian is the pawsome puptown of Butler! Here you can visit the puptastic Rotary Park with your pooch and enjoy some exercise and playtime. There is plenty of green grass here for your pup to roll and roam, as well as a sniff-tastic walking path that you can use for a leisurely stroll when the sun is shining. In addition, there is a playground at Rotary Park for the kids to enjoy during the day. There are trees here that will provide some shade, but be sure to bring some fresh water for your panting pup when it is hot and sunny.

South Side

Every pooch loves a trip to the park, so jump in the car and head on over to the puptown of Butler! Here you will find the pawsome Father Marinaro Park where your canine can have a barking good time. There is open green grass where you can enjoy a puptastic game of fetch, as well as a sniff-tastic walking trail for some exercise. There are also some furrific amenities at Father Marinaro Park that you can enjoy. This includes two basketball courts, a baseball field, skate park, play area and a car park. Be sure to bring some fresh water for after all that fun with your canine!

W Penn St/ N Main St

For a road trip with your canine, head on over to the puptown of Butler! When you are in town, you have got to drop by Butler Memorial Park, which is a pawsome place for pooches to have a ball. This is a big green spot where your pup can enjoy rolling and roaming around on the grass to burn some energy. There is a sniff-tastic walking path that you can explore too for some exercise. Of course, you can’t come to Butler Memorial Park and not enjoy some of the amenities, including a playground for the kids, a football field, tennis courts, benches and picnic tables.
