Dog Walking in Cadogan

Cadogan is an unincorporated community located along the Allegheny River, south of North Buffalo. The place is nice and friendly, but it's relatively small and doesn't have any pet-friendly parks or activities for dog owners. To find Fido-friendly things to do and see, you'll need to travel into other areas in Armstrong County. The closest veterinary hospital is less than 10 minutes away in Ford City.

The Armstrong Trail offers about 30 miles of trail with a few on-road sections that wind throughout Armstrong and Clarion counties. This trail is touted as one of the top ten things to do in and around the Pittsburgh area, so you'd be barking mad to miss it! Pooches of all sizes are welcome to explore the trail as long as they remain on-leash. You'll find the nearest trailhead in McGrann, on the opposite side of Allegheny River.

If you want to add some serenity and scenic views to your walk, The Butler-Freeport Community Trail is the perfect place to enjoy the wooded valley leading to Little Buffalo Creek and Buffalo Creek as well as to the Allegheny River at Freeport. The trail is very well-maintained, and you'll find eateries and bathrooms along the way.
