Allison Park
Allison Park is a Pittsburgh suburb located within Hampton Township in western Pennsylvania. William Flinn Highway passes through the area, and provides easy access to gas stations and fast-food chains for busy travelers and their pooches. Travel west of central Allison Park to find a huge, green public park that even has its own dog park – North Park. Leashed tail-waggers can accompany their masters on the walking trails within the main area, but Fido can enjoy some off-leash time and sniff out some new furry friends in the dog park!

Located in the northernmost part of Pittsburgh and a few miles away from Dorseyville, Hartwood Acres Park is a beautiful, 629-acre terrain offering a variety of outdoor activities to enjoy with family, friends, and fur babies! Get cultured by exploring the park's Tudor-style mansion on a tour. Or, hit the number of hiking trails here that showcase some gorgeous scenery. Finally, enjoy some off-leash fun in the designated dog park! Hartwood Acres County Dog Park is a marvelous place for your pooch to play and make some friends with the local dogs! There's plenty of shade here, but you'll need to bring your own drinking water and waste baggies.

Ogle is a neighborhood in Cranberry Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania. Located along two main highways, Ogle is home to an abundance of shopping venues and stores where you can stock up on supplies before hitting the highway again. If you're passing through and need to make a pit stop with your pup, make sure to visit Cranberry Township Community Park. This park is home to an off-leash area where pooches can run, roam, and go dog wild with some new furry friends! The dog park is fully fenced and features everything you and Fido may need -- including plenty of furry visitors year-round!

Lovi Road outlines the eastern border of Freedom, intersecting with Freedom Road on the way to one of the coolest places to visit with Fido in Butler County – Lucky Paws Dog Park and Pool! If your pooch is panting a little too hard on a hot day, this is the perfect place for him to cool off! Or, if you just need a little off-leash time, this park has got you covered. You'll need to obtain a membership to visit this park, but the small fee is well worth it. There are two separate areas for small and large dogs, picnic tables, agility equipment, and dozens of happy (and friendly) owners and furry friends to play with!

Sewickley
Sewickley is another suburb of Pittsburgh located a quick drive from downtown. Here, you'll find a wonderful dog park that you and Fido would be pawsitively mad to miss! Misty Pines Dog Park is owned and maintained by the Misty Pines Pet Company, which offers a variety of services for dogs. You'll need to register, provide proof of vaccinations, and pay a fee to play here. Apart from running water, the park also provides a secure fence, exercise equipment, a pond to cool off in, snifftastic walking trails to explore, and plenty of canine companions to play with! Please bring your own water bowl when visiting this dog park.
