The Virginia Weldon Park offers you and your pooch the chance to escape the streets and settle down in a pup-friendly park where you can grill-out or take Fido around to sniff the flowers. Wag over to the Harmon Field for additional playtime on a large grassy lawn. Your pup will love to stroll with you on Harmon Field's walking trails. Both parks are within easy walking distance; just cut down through the town's main street.

A 1,100 foot boardwalk invites all two and four-legged hikers to come enjoy the scenic forest while listening to the music of nature. Although the Big Cyprus Tree is no longer observable at the park, you can read about the history of the tree and how the park got its name. Wag on the one mile Dresden Greenrail Trail for a pawleasant walk with Fido that connects the Sunset Cemetery and the Dresden Farmer's Market, all the way to the Wilson Park.
