The Jackson Walk neighborhood boasts an open, pleasant community. Nestled in the center of this neighborhood is the Jackson Downtown Dog Walk, a perfect place to take your pup for an afternoon. This dog park is a fenced in area that allows dogs to run freely off leash and let loose all their wild puppy energy! The park isn’t particularly busy, though there are usually one or two other dogs there during the day. Being mostly a grassy field, there isn’t a lot of shade, so beware of hot days. Entry is free, and your pup is sure to rate each and every trip five out of five wags!

Hidden Valley Estate

If you’re out traveling with your favorite pup, Hidden Valley Estate is the place to be! This area is full of countless dog friendly places, from hotels to restaurants. The La Quinta Inn & Suites Jackson located just off the highway is friendly to dogs of all sizes and requires no pet fee for their stay! Another choice is the Howard Johnson Jackson hotel, which allows pets of any size for an additional fee per night. Once there, you and your pup can head on down to Tulum Fresh Mexican Grill, Picasso Bistro and Pizzeria or Back Yard Bar-Be-Cue for some dog friendly seating and excellent food!

Northpark

Northpark is a pleasant area with beautiful scenery. Named for it’s park, North Park, this neighborhood is the ideal place to take your pooch for a day out. North Park is a lovely, grassy expanse with plenty of room for your favorite pup to run and play. A concrete trail travels through the park, lined with some trees to protect from the sunlight during the day. Remember to keep your pup on a leash at all times, as this park isn’t fenced in and there are roads nearby. You and your pup are sure to have a blast every time you go!

Belemeade

Belemeade is a gorgeous neighborhood with plenty to do. Nestled in the center of the neighborhood is Liberty Garden Park & Arboretum, an absolutely beautiful area that’s tended very carefully and kept in excellent shape. There’s the perfect amount of shade trees scattered through the field, and plenty of walking paths so that every walk is unique. The park’s gorgeous scenery and unique makeup makes it a place that’s great to visit again and again. Inside the park is a memorial wall honoring veterans, which you and your pup can stop to admire. You’re sure to have a pawsome time exploring this lovely area!

Oakmont Midtowns

Oakmont Midtowns is a beautiful area with a pleasant, friendly community. Nestled in this neighborhood is Highland Park, a pretty green expanse with plenty of room for you and your pup to enjoy the natural area. Just east of the neighborhood is Muse Park, an expansive area with a pond and a paved walking path. This scenic route is ideal for those daily walks you take with your pup and is a great way for your dog to burn off all that puppy energy! Remember to keep your pup leashed in both parks, as they’re not fenced in and there are roads nearby.
