Goodman Road West
Olive Branch is a city in DeSoto County, located about an hour west of Corinth. Goodman Road is one of the main arterial streets in the city, offering a variety of activities in the city center and access to Olive Branch City Park! This is a nice reward for tired travelers and pups who need to stretch their legs and walk around after a long drive. Branch City Park is a fun community park with lakes and sports fields, as well as a well-maintained network of walking trails to explore with your pooch! This isn't a dog park, so Fido will need to be leashed at all times here. Don't forget to bring water and waste baggies.

City Center Oxford
Oxford, hiding behind Holly Springs National Forest and located north of Sardis Lake, is a perfect place to hike with Fido in Lafayette County. Gear up for an adventurous, 1-mile tour from Molly Bar Road to Old Taylor Road. Oxford Depot Trail is a part of the hiking trail network in Oxford, and one of the pet-friendly paved, 10-foot wide paths. South Campus Rail Trail is another option for challenging your fur baby and keeping him in good shape. This hike is longer, about three miles, and stretches from Front Street to Thacker Mountain Road. Bringing your own drinking water is a must, since there's none available along the trails.

North Veteran Memorial Boulevard
North Veteran Memorial Boulevard will lead you to the eastern part of Tupelo, a city in northwest Mississippi located south of Corinth. Here, you and Fido can enjoy an adventure on the walking trails in Veterans Park. You'll need to keep your dog on-leash at all times here. Then, pay a visit to Tupelo Bark Park, an amazing, free dog park just north of Eastwood Softball Complex. This fenced park is roomy enough to have two separate sections for small and large breeds, some seating, and drinking water fountains. Get ready to socialize a lot! This is one of the most popular pet-friendly facilities around!

Avondale
Avondale is one of the northern neighborhoods of Starkville, featuring a sleepy residential area located within close proximity to the leafy Moncrief Park. Suitable for all ages and temperaments, this park promises a great weekend for families with kids -- both furry and human! Sackville Dog Park, situated in the main area, is the pawfect place to sniff out some new canine pals, or just burn some excess energy. Feel free to join the pack of local dog owners and make your way to Dave’s Dark Horse Tavern, an authentic, hole-in-the-wall bar with a pet-friendly patio where you and Fido can chow down on some delicious pub grub.
Columbus Downtown
The county seat of Lowndes County, Columbus is located northeast of Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway. The city center has easy and direct access to water views and a furrific opportunity to explore the area with the pup: River Walk Trail. Start your adventure at Main Street and follow the lead of Tombigbee River’s steady stream. This trail is equipped with bathrooms, two pavilions, and even benches to stop for a moment and enjoy the views. Hungry? Get comfortable at Coffee House on 5th, a dog-friendly spot in the downtown area with a variety of drinks and treats. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome to dine with their owners at the outdoor seating area.
