This is a nice reward for tired travelers and pups who need to stretch their legs and walk around after a long drive. Branch City Park is a fun community park with lakes and sports fields, as well as a well-maintained network of walking trails to explore with your pooch! This isn't a dog park, so Fido will need to be leashed at all times here. Don't forget to bring water and waste baggies.

Gear up for an adventurous, 1-mile tour from Molly Bar Road to Old Taylor Road. Oxford Depot Trail is a part of the hiking trail network in Oxford, and one of the pet-friendly paved, 10-foot wide paths. South Campus Rail Trail is another option for challenging your fur baby and keeping him in good shape. This hike is longer, about three miles, and stretches from Front Street to Thacker Mountain Road. Bringing your own drinking water is a must, since there's none available along the trails.
