I was raised with a large dog as a kid and had two medium size dogs in my teens. I worked in the pet industry for almost 5 years, serving independent mom & pop pet stores. One day I want to have an Amstaff and a Jack Russell in my family!

“A walk a day keeps the vets away!”

Hey there! I’m a bilingual dog walker, pet sitter and pet care taker. At 16 years old, I relinquished sports to work at a vets office, and ever since there was no way back. Richmond is a hot spot for dog lovers/friendly people and allows for adventurous short or long walks. Favorite things about walking dogs besides the walk, is meeting your pups’ quirks, catch and plays. Check out the rest of my profile to see how I can help! Hablo espanol!

“Care from a life long dog owner”

Hi there! My name is Eddie, and I can’t wait to meet your pup. I’ve been on wag! since 2018 and I’ve fallen in love with all the dogs I’ve been able to care for. My dog, Kota, and I recently moved to RVA with two other friends. We have a spacious back yard that’s fully fenced in and Kota is the friendliest girl I’ve ever met. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life so caring for them is second nature. The pics in my gallery are of my family’s current dogs but only the small tan pup lives here!

Dog Walking in Mechanicsville

Mechanicsville, Virginia was once the site of several Civil War battles. These battles left their marks on the countryside. It's a different kind of life here. It is not the busy hustle of the city that you are used to. Come and visit the trails, parks, and historic sites. Walk your dog along the paths that soldiers walked. It gives you a sense of peace to see that as time goes by, beauty and nature prevail. The historic sites here are marked so that you can learn, which makes it fun for the whole family.

The first place you should go is Beaver Creek Dam Battlefield. This is a small park, but it has a nice footbridge over the creek. The entire site is a very popular place to come to take pictures. The historic significance of the area is displayed on easy to read memorial plaques that tell you all about this park. Your dog is going to love the tree-lined trail.

Gaines Mill Battlefield is a long walk that is lined with old cannons and battlefields. There is a very popular walking trail that you can walk on your own or you can meet up with a tour guide and take your dog with you along a guided tour.
