Pole Green Dog Park is a pawtastic place to bring your dog for a full day of play. It has a fenced-in area where you can let your canine companion off his leash and watch him go wild for a little bit. There are two watering stations, so don’t worry if you forget to bring your own. Agility equipment is available, and Fido is sure to love showing off all his skills. There’s even a time-out pen for dogs who play too ruff. All of these amenities are only 22 miles from Biscoe!

Hanover Dog Park is huge dog park with lots of wide open space to run and play in. There are always lots of balls laying around for Fido to play with. He can even climb and play on the equipment if he wants to. The water fountains are set in place so that you and your dog can stay well-hydrated while you play together. This park is 34 miles from Biscoe, but it is easy to find and right off the highway. Don’t forget to bring some doggie waste bags, and be sure to practice good petiquette while visiting this pawesome park.

Thirty-six miles may seem like a long way to go for a dog park, but once you get here, you will see why Dude Ranch Member Park is worth the drive! You and Fido have a whopping 46 acres to roam and play in. There are forests, meadows, and fields to explore. You can even enjoy splashing around in the lake if you want to. Fishing is also available, so don’t forget to pack those poles! Of course, there are fenced-in areas as well. All you need to do to enjoy this park is check in at the front desk. Then you can choose day passes or yearly passes.

Mi Jalisco has a nice, airy patio where your dog can join you for some classic Mexican food. Thirty-six miles is all that stands between you and the best tacos in the state of Virginia. The town may be tiny, but the selection on this menu is huge! If you don’t like tacos because of all the veggies, you could go for a burrito or even some enchiladas. This spot is a local favorite because the food is superb and the fur-iendly company is even better! You and your dashing dog can dine at the outdoor tables.
