You and the pooch can also have a wander around the boutique, where you’ll find a variety of unique gifts for pets, including toys, special leashes and collars, and Super Premium Dog foods, too!

The General Sheppard Crump Memorial Park in Glen Allen has something for everyone. There is a playground for the kids, a pond where they can feed the ducks, a history visitor center, and a working farm that dates back to the Civil War era. General Sheppard Crump Memorial Park Loop Trail is a 1.6-mile trail that takes you through a forest where you’ll see woodpeckers, gray squirrels, and hear the call of Carolina wrens. As well as ducks, the nearby pond is also home to Canada geese, mallards, and great blue herons. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on-leash.
