North McCleary
North McCleary, Washington, is right on the edge of town near highway 108. The northern part of McCleary is a wonderful place to start your day with a walk with your dog. You can start with a stroll through the scenic residential streets where you can admire the unique homes while your dog admires the unique squirrels. In the northeast corner of this neighborhood, you will find a handful of small lakes that you and your dog can explore. Just be sure to bring the waste bags with you and be mindful to leave things just as you found them.

Central McCleary
Central McCleary is the hub of this small Washington town. You can start your day here walking with your dog along the East Fork Wildcat Creek which is as spectacular as its name suggests! Your dog can run and splash all along this natural source of entertainment all morning long. The perfect oasis for hot days, the creek feeds into a wide lake where you can relax by the bank with a delightful book and a great pup by your side! You will need dry, clean towels and drinking water to dry off and re-hydrate during your visit to this part of McCleary.

West McCleary
West McCleary is the pawfect place if you find yourself looking for a relaxing part of town with plenty of sights and smells for your dog. This neighborhood is mostly open land with a few houses here and there, so your drive over to this side of town will leave you with plenty of fresh air and open spaces to take in before finding a good parking spot. You will need to keep your dog on leash while in this neighborhood, but there is plenty of room for both of you to walk and play all day! Just don’t leave your waste bags in the car.

East McCleary
East McCleary is a happening little part of town where your dog will love to get out of the car and stretch his legs. This side of McCleary is home to a gorgeous park called Beerbower Park. Beerbower is green and well-kept park that is simply pawfect for families with pets. Your dog will need to stay close to you on a leash if the park is busy. With events going on here every few weeks, there is sure to be something worth seeing in this area during your stay. Most of the park is covered in grass, but some areas are mulch, especially near the playground equipment.

South McCleary
South McCleary is where most of the city’s residents own property. The residential streets here are a sight for sore eyes and paws. You can take a leisurely walk through the neighborhood if you would like to get a feel for the friendly atmosphere found there. Just don’t be surprised if you encounter many other dog owners on your walk, just make sure everyone minds their manners and your dog is sure to make some new friends. Always make sure you are stocked up on waste bags in residential areas out of respect for the people and pups who live there.
