Hey! My name is Darien and I am an animal and outdoor enthusiast. I recently graduated from college I travel a lot, teaching kids, working on farms and creating art. Animals have always been a part of my life, whether it is wild animals, livestock or pets I have always felt it easy to communicate with them. All the animals companions I've ever had, have been rescued, though I have never owned a dog, my friends dogs have become just as important in my life as their owners are!
Westport, Washington came by its name honestly: it is the furthest western port in the world. It has a population of just under 3,000 people, and it is a beautiful town with plenty to do and so much beautiful scenery to take in. South Westport is a beachy area, and there is a lot to explore with your dog. Your pooch will have a blast frolicking in the sand and getting some exercise while you take in the views, and one of the best spots in South Westport to do this is at Twin Harbors State Park. This massive park features beach and coastal areas along with the benefits of the forest that make state parks so unique. You can fish, go diving and clamming, or just relax at the beach or walk along the Pacific coastline with your dog, as long as they are on a leash.
