Batman Begins Inspired Dog Names

There were many reasons why “Batman Begins” was such a massive hit. There is no denying that Christopher Nolan has a deft hand behind the camera, but there was some serious talent on camera too. The villain, played to perfection by Liam Neeson was scary and The Scarecrow scenes made us all want to sleep with the lights on. The story was well written and swept us along at a brilliant pace, and the romantic plot line was alright. All these factors deserve recognition, but so does the leading man himself- Christian Bale.

Bale has been in show business ever since he was a child. He has worked with massive directors and producers and has earned himself a spot on the A-list. His turn as Batman was nothing short of thrilling and we cannot imagine anyone else in that role. Since he played the titular Batman in “Batman Begins”, we decided to feature his beloved dogs, Mojo and Ramone, in our pop culture spotlight. Bale has always been an animal lover and has a certain soft spot in his heart for all things cuddly. He enjoys horseback riding and has two dogs and three cats.

Mojo and Ramone live a charmed life, which is to be expected considering who they belong to. On screen, we watched Batman swoop around Gotham city and save Rachel Dawes. We watched him become a hero in a city that desperately needed him. When we watch actors become heroes on screen, parts of us think that they must be like that in real life. After all, they play the character so well! But this is rarely true and we end up feeling disappointed. This is not what happened in Bale’s case. Mojo and Ramone are in fact rescue dogs.

It says a lot about a person’s character when they take the time to rehabilitate a dog who has been through a lot. There are too many dogs that need good homes out there, and when a cultural icon takes one in, it sets a good example for the rest. We know that Mojo and Ramone must be having the time of their lives as they follow their master from one country to the next. What an exciting adventure it must be to belong to one of the biggest actors on the planet. We are sure that these pups have a special place in all Baleheads’ hearts.
