Early 2000's Cartoon Dog Names

There was Bubbles, a blonde superheroine who must have gotten all the sugar because she was the sweetest cartoon character in history. That is why when Smoak and Byers, two pet owners, saw their hyperactive little puppy for the first time, they must have known that she was a little Bubbles. Although doggy Bubbles only has two legs, she gets around just fine thanks to her custom cart. This cheerful puppy always looks on the bright side of life, like her blonde haired namesake. 

Blossom is the next Powerpuff girl, and her ingredient was "everything nice". Blossom is one of the nicest characters on screen. She would go out of her way to help people and would never say anything bad about anyone. She was the leader of the girls and took this responsibility very seriously. She would always take care of them and lead them into battle. These qualities are mirrored in Blossom, a beautiful little Pit Bull mix. When she was just a few days old, her mother chewed off her back paws. This left doggy Blossom with only two working paws. Did this hold her back? Not at all. Blossom bravely leads a full life, bringing happiness to all those around her. She brings hope to people, which is exactly what superheroes always do.  

And then finally, there was Buttercup. Buttercup got the extra spice and showed it in her personality. Although she was the most temperamental of the three sisters, she never hurt anyone who didn't deserve it. Her fiery personality made her very interesting, which might be why supermodel Heidi Klum chose that name for her little puppy. Buttercup the dog might not be as temperamental as her namesake and she seemed to have inherited more sugar than spice, but she certainly got the best name. And both Buttercups teach us that it is okay to be a girl with more spice than sugar!
