Luke Cage Inspired Dog Names in Pop Culture

Luke Cage Inspired Dog Name Considerations

An exciting aspect about becoming a new furparent (aside from the actual fact that you are getting a dog) is the process of choosing a name. All dog owners want their furry babies to have a name that is cool and meaningful at the same time. One of the simplest and most effective ways to come up with a name for your pooch is to take ideas from pop culture. From viral-worthy pups to classic canine characters, the possibilities are endless.

If you are thinking about giving your dog a name inspired by the web television series Luke Cage, you can start by getting inspiration from the characters who were introduced in the show. Names like Luke, Cornell and Misty are popular among fans of Luke Cage since these are the most beloved personalities in the series. If you want to be a bit edgy and give your furbaby a unique moniker, you can go for the more obscure names such as Cottonmouth, Stryker or Diamondback.

Other than the fictional characters from the series, you may also pay homage to the actors and actresses who brought them to life. Big Hollywood names such as Mike Colter, Mahershala Ali, Simone Missick and Rosario Dawson are just some of the A-list celebrities who are part of the Luke Cage cast.
