Introduction

One of the most popular computer animated films of 2017 is the DreamWorks picture The Boss Baby. This film is based on a book written by Marla Frazee; several Hollywood elite lent their voices to the making of the film. The Boss Baby is a tale of sibling rivalry. It is told from the perspective of Tim Templeton. Tim tells of a baby in a business suit arriving at his home. Tim is told that this sharp-dressed tyke is his new baby brother; however, Tim realizes soon that this infant is not your typical baby. The baby seems to have a few "super" powers that are afforded him by a special baby formula. The film is an adorable tale about how siblings can fight yet still love one another.

The Boss Baby Inspired Dog Name Considerations

One major component of The Boss Baby has to do with the fact that puppies are an integral part of the storyline. Known as the Forever Puppy, this character remains a puppy during their lifetime due to the creation of a special formula. Although the audience is never told the particular breed that Forever Puppy might be, his cartoonish appearance resembles that of a French Bulldog or perhaps a small terrier, such as the Jack Russell Terrier.

There is also a Chiweenie (a hybrid breed; its parent breeds are the Chihuahua and the Dachshund) featured briefly in the film. Another breed that has a brief appearance is an "Alaskan" puppy - one can assume that this is the Alaskan Malamute or possibly a Siberian Husky (since the two breeds are often confused). Also, at one point, the Boss Baby utilizes a photo of a Dachshund puppy to explain the purpose of his job.

Certainly, since the company that the Templetons work for is called Forever Puppy, one could safely assume that any breed is suited to a The Boss Baby inspired name. However, French Bulldogs, terriers of all varieties, the Chihuahua, or the Dachshund are particularly apt for a name inspired by The Boss Baby
