Introduction
Zombieland Inspired Dog Names in Pop Culture
We feel sorry for the characters, but the most tragic among them is Tallahassee. At one point during the movie, Columbus notices that Tallahassee seems to enjoy killing zombies a little more than he should. Columbus asks him why, and although Tallahassee doesn't answer him, the audience gets treated to a flashback. Although, treated is too strong of a word for what we see. Tallahassee had a dog named Buck, who he loved more than anyone in the world. When the zombie outbreak started, he lost his dog. Any dog lover in the audience could relate to Tallahassee's anger. Thankfully, the little puppy in the movie was real and he was soon adopted by Abigail Breslin, or Little Rock, who has a soft spot for dogs. The Oscar-winner took the puppy home and named him Sully. Like Abigail, none of us could forget the adorable puppy who featured in Tallahassee's flashbacks.
Another little Buck exists, and he might just be America's bravest dog. Buck does not officially exist, but according to numerous sources, he has been a part of terrorist task forces overseas. From what we could gather, Buck was like any normal canine member of the army. His intelligence and skill soon caught the attention of special forces, and before long, Buck was helping to take down prominent terrorist leaders. The rumors originated from servicemen and women who worked with the brave dog and other members of the Pentagon. In Zombieland, we don't know much about Buck, but we like to think that the little puppy had a happy ending. We don't know much about this Buck, but we like to think of this heroic dog out saving lives and making an impact on those around him.
Zombieland Inspired Dog Name Considerations
That makes a lot of sense when Columbus explains that it doesn't help to get attached to people who might want to eat you tomorrow. All our favorite characters are called by the state from which they hail. Thankfully, a movie is not just made up of actors. There are a lot of people who work hard behind the scenes to bring us the action. In this naming guide, you can find the name of your favorite character, the actor who portrayed them or someone who contributed to the success of the film.
