Falcoln Park is a simple area that's natural, but not as natural as some other Kensington parks. It features open space throughout, making it pawfect for high energy dogs who need to walk a long way before they'll let you sleep at night! It's also mostly flat. This allows you to walk your dog all through the open fields and along the simple, dirt paths without undertaking a huge climb. The park doesn't have amenities, so be sure to bring in your own water to stave of dehydration for you and your pup. Logan's Ferry Community Park is a small park that serves the mainly residential community of Logan's Ferry Heights. This park's location makes it a convenient place to walk your dog as part of the daily grind. It's small, but totally usable. Just two minutes across the border from New Kensington is the Kinlock neighborhood of Lower Burrell. Kinlock Firemans Park is a great place to take your pup! This compact park uses it's space wisely. Roughly one third of the park is devoted to an open, grassy area perfect for letting your dog lead the way. Hold the leash and go wherever their feet (and sniffing nose) take you! The other two thirds of the park are divided between a playground for children and a basketball court. If your dog isn't much of an ambler and needs a brisk pace, walking laps of the park isn't exciting, but it is practical.
